The model is mounted on a flexible metal spiral hose, which renders the vertebral column robust and simultaneously highly mobile. The special flexible intervertebral discs behave like natural intervertebral discs. The spinal nerves and vertebral artery are also represented. The model is push-fitted on to the stand and is easy to remove.
