1. Clear Flashback Chamber allows quick and easy identification of blood flashback. The ribbed design facilitates secure handling. The Locking Bevel Indicator assures bevel-up orientation while adding stability during catheter advancement.
2. Finger Flanges are designed to minimise catheter hub Key-Part touch contamination.
3. The Universal Bevel allows clinicians a wider choice of insertion angles.
4. Double Flashback Technology improves first stick success through quick visualisation of both Needle Flash and Catheter Flash.
5. The Push-Off Plate facilitates easy insertion with one-handed technique, minimises touch contamination, and acts as a bevel orientation indicator.
6. The polyurethane (PUR) Catheter, for softer, more comfortable, longer indwelling performance with kink resistance. Optimised catheter lubrication provides smooth catheter advancement. Transparent catheter with four radiopaque strips allows for quick flashback visualisation
7. The Passive Safety Shield protects against accidental needlestick injuries while facilitating an easy, one-hand technique. It also encourages best practice by preventing needle reinsertion.
8. The Multi-Access Septum works multiple times to control the backflow of blood which helps reduce blood exposure and minimises clean up time and materials.
9. The integrated Stabilisation Platform improves catheter stability and is designed to minimise movement within the vessel. The raised luer connection is designed to reduce catheter kinking and minimise touch contamination.
10. Removable Vented Flashplug permits attachment of a syringe for aspiration or other special procedures.
