SPENCER® CDK Tapered Vacuum Mattress. Designed to Ensure Effective Immobilisation of Trauma Casualties During Transport.
The Spencer CDK is a tapered vacuum mattress that is robust and reliable, designed to offer an optimal immobilisation of trauma casualties before and during transport for further medical treatment.
The CDK features nine soft carrying handles on the sides, with the lower part of the mattress fitted with reinforced Santoprene® handgrips. This ensures a safe and secure grip during handling system, even when in critical situations.
On the top part of the CDK vacuum mattress runs a reinforced perimeter rope, this can also act as extra handles as well as a strong loop to attach casualty fixation belts. The Tapered shape ensures to improve adherence to the casualty by moulding to the body, increasing casualty comfort with a maximum load capacity of 150kg.
Fitted with an on/off valve made of chromed brass and with a built-in fitting for rubber tubes. The rubber tubes are resistant to high and low temperatures, making the Spencer CDK ideal for any remote and extreme rescue operation. Radio transparency allows for preliminary X-Ray diagnostics with the casualty whilst in the mattress.
