BOTOX is an anti-wrinkle injection that is intended for intramuscular injection. It is used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe forehead lines, crow’s feet lines, and frown lines between the eyebrows in adults, and the treatment of hyperhidrosis. It contains the active substance Botulinum toxin type A.

Composition:
- This BOTOX 100IU vial contains clostridium botulinum type A neurotoxin complex, 0.5 milligrams of Albumin (Human), and 0.9 milligrams of sodium chloride

Contraindications of BOTOX:
- Known hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin type A or to any of the excipients
- Presence of infection at the proposed injection site(s)
Who Should Not Use BOTOX?
- Pregnant or lactating women
- Those with neurological or neuromuscular conditions
- Those in poor general health
- Those taking medications which could cause a reaction with BOTOX
- Those allergic to any of BOTOX’s ingredients, such as cow’s milk protein
- Those with very thick or sensitive skin
- Those with muscle weakness in the proposed injection site
- Those with a skin infection
