What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9001 is a quality management system that can be gained to demonstrate our commitment to quality, no matter whether we provide products or services to our customers. Through certification our business will implement processes and practices for the purpose of improving productivity, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction. The ISO 9001 definition of quality extends to organisations demonstrating good practice across areas of business such as -
  • services
  • management
  • people
  • facilities
  • equipment
  • products
  • training
The ISO 9001 standard requires us to meet quality standards for both our own requirements and those of our customers and regulators. “ISO 9001 certified” means we have met the standards of the ISO 9001 quality management system, helping us to identify and implement improvements to our company’s processes.

What is ISO 14001?

ISO 14001 is the most important standard within the ISO 14000 series, a set of environmental management standards for businesses developed and published by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The ISO 14001 standard maps out a framework that we can follow to set up an environmental management system, and can be used by us to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency and reduce costs associated with waste management. The standard allows us to reduce the environmental impact of our processes and supply chain, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, reducing costs associated with resource, energy and waste management, as well as demonstrating our commitment to the environment to customers and key stakeholders.
